Can ClearPath decide whom I should sue or where to file?
No. You or your attorney must select the defendant or defendants, court, forms, claim amount, requested relief, and strategy. ClearPath cannot determine venue, jurisdiction, eligibility, or legal responsibility.
Will ClearPath evaluate my evidence or tell me what my claim is worth?
No. ClearPath does not assess evidence, calculate damages, value claims, predict defenses, or advise whether a claim is legally sufficient. We enter and organize the information and attachments you direct us to use.
Are filing and service included?
No. Filing coordination is available for an additional $125 after scope is confirmed. Court fees, electronic filing provider charges, process service, publication if any, certified copies, delivery, and other third-party costs are separate.
Will ClearPath appear at the small claims hearing?
No. The service does not include court appearances, hearing preparation or coaching, representation, witnesses, interpretation, evidence presentation, appeals, or post-judgment enforcement.
What information should I provide?
Provide the court and forms you selected, exact party names and service addresses, your claim amount and calculation, relevant dates, your factual statement, and the attachments you selected. ClearPath does not verify defendant identity or ownership.
How long does small claims preparation take?
Preparation depends on complete facts, addresses, calculations, attachments, and corrections. Filing, service, clerk processing, hearing availability, and court decisions are outside ClearPath's control, so no timing or result is guaranteed.
Does the service include collecting a judgment?
No. Enforcement, collection, debtor examination, liens, appeals, and other post-judgment work are outside this package. ClearPath cannot advise which remedy or procedure to use.
