Living Trust Document Preparation
for the Bay Area
ClearPath prepares client-selected living trust and estate planning documents for individuals and couples throughout the Bay Area based entirely on their instructions.
A trust package and a will, power of attorney, and health directive package are different services. If you also direct a real-property transfer, a separate trust transfer deed can be prepared from the vesting and legal-description information you supply.
We are not a law firm and we do not provide legal advice. We cannot tell you how to structure your estate or which provisions to include. We prepare the selected documents from the terms you provide for your review.

Important Context
Key Considerations
Funding is your responsibility
A signed trust does not automatically retitle every asset. Real estate requires separate deeds, and financial accounts must be retitled directly with the institutions.
Complex estates require attorneys
Seek legal or tax advice about trust design, special needs beneficiaries, blended families, tax consequences, or potential disputes.

Estate document questions
Common questions about our living trust document preparation services.
What can a living trust package include?
Depending on the selected package, ClearPath can prepare a revocable living trust, coordinated will, durable power of attorney, advance health care directive, and signing materials from your instructions. A trust transfer deed is separately listed.
Is the $495 estate package a living trust?
No. The $495–$695 package is a will, power of attorney, and health directive package. Living trust packages are $1,095 for an individual and $1,495 for a couple.
Can ClearPath recommend beneficiaries, trustees, or terms?
No. You or your attorney choose the people, distributions, powers, and provisions. ClearPath cannot provide estate-planning, legal, investment, or tax advice.
Does signing a trust automatically transfer my property?
No. Real-property transfers generally require a separate deed, and financial institutions have their own procedures. ClearPath can prepare a selected trust transfer deed but cannot advise which assets to transfer.
How long does trust document preparation take?
Timing depends on complete names, roles, property information, selected terms, package size, and revisions. Signing, notarization, recording, and account retitling are separate, so no completion date or result is guaranteed.
Do you prepare living trust documents for couples?
Yes. The advertised couple package is $1,495. Both clients provide and review their chosen terms; ClearPath cannot resolve conflicting instructions or advise either person.
Will my trust avoid probate or reduce taxes?
ClearPath cannot predict probate or tax outcomes. Those depend on terms, assets, ownership, beneficiary designations, and later events. Ask an attorney or qualified tax professional for advice.
What information should I have ready?
Gather legal names, chosen trustees and successors, beneficiaries, client-selected distribution instructions, and relevant property information. Provide existing deeds if you select deed preparation.
